Tips on how to look after your Turf

Remember we supply your turf not your lawn YOU make that.
So water and take care of it.

Like all plants Turf is perishable and needs watering properly, turf must be laid immediately after delivery.


Watering
Water freshly laid turf immediately and thoroughly, thereafter water daily, early morning or evening is best. Remember the soil beneath the roots being dry will draw
the water from the turf, so please make full allowance for this on the initial watering and thereafter.

Mowing
Mow within one week. Any mower will do as long as it's in good condition with sharp blades and must have collection box. Do not mow below one inch (25cm).
Stop watering two days before mowing, then restart immediately after.


Weeding
There should be no broadleaf weeds in your turf upon delivery. New weed growth must be treated with a 'spot' weed killer urgently to prevent encroachment.


Feeding
Feed your lawn regularly, to keep it in perfect health. Please ask about lawn food when ordering your turf
